The exhibition “Letizia Battaglia Senza Fine” at the Terme di Caracalla is a tribute to the extraordinary career of Letizia Battaglia.
The exhibition is organized by the Soprintendenza Speciale of Rome, directed by Daniela Porro, and curated by Paolo Falcone, with the contribution of the Letizia Battaglia Archive and the Falcone Foundation for the Arts.
The exhibition includes 92 photographs, some of which are unpublished, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Letizia Battaglia through her powerful black-and-white visual language. The photographs represent a wide variety of topics, from the mafia to the struggle for civil rights, and testify to the important role that Letizia Battaglia played in documenting the history of Sicily.
The exhibition will take place from May 27 to November 5, 2023, at the Terme di Caracalla in Rome.
The opening hours of the Terme di Caracalla vary throughout the year, with opening until 19.15 until 31 August, and the last admission allowed at 18.15. Monday closed.
